The Adult Advanced Sailing Class is the next step for those that have taken the Adult Intermediate Class or have prior sailing experience. The class will focus on honing skills on the water while introducing more advanced and technical skills. Adult Sailing. Adults and families can have fun learning together on the water through our signature sailing programs. With options for private lessons, flexible scheduling, and a range of courses from beginner to intermediate, sailing at The Center for Wooden Boats is fun and accessible for people of all ages and abilities. With Basic Sailing Skills BK 101 as a prerequisite, students will sail aboard a 36 to 43-foot sailboat with two to three other students aboard. The two-day weekday evening course or weekend day course is spent aboard the boat and underway. Practice docking, anchoring, sailing, and emergency procedures.
